Paul Di’Anno / Crowdfunding mission set up for singer’s knee surgery

A crowd funding page has been set up by the Cart And Horses to help raise £20,000 so former Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Di’Anno can have his delayed knee surgery.

The page, which can be found at https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/kastro-carthorses-2 says that “Paul waited for the past 5-6 years to get this surgery done but now it looks the only way to get it done and quick is privately.

“Please donate as much as you can so we can make it happen for Paul.

“We know times are hard for everyone now but every little helps. If we all get together we can make this happen for him.”

Paul was due to play his final ever gig with the Ides Of March at last years Beermageddon, before COVID-19 reared it’s ugly head, saying “It’s been a tough four years waiting to play again.

“I hope to be standing for this show and I’m really looking forward to it. Standing up would be great – if not, Hell on wheels coming to ya!”
