With an eleven-date UK headline tour set to begin tonight at Yardbirds in Grimsby, Cassidy Paris has been forced to postpone The Bittersweet Tour after her guitarist and drummer left the band mid-tour.
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Alex & Tom Rogowski have decided to part ways with the band,” Cassidy’s Facebook page announced. “Therefore, the upcoming Cassidy Paris UK leg of the tour will be postponed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience and deeply regret not being able to see you all in the UK.”
Cassidy Paris played the Frontiers Festival in April, and was on the support slot on the Harem Scarem European Tour and ChtiRock Festival in Barlin, France on 3 May 2025.
“Due to unreconcilable differences, Alex and I have stepped down from the band,” Tom Rogowski wrote on Facebook. “We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. We won’t be getting into dialogue on social media over the situation but needless to say, those of you who know us will know that we have acted with the best of intentions. We wish Cassidy and Steve all the best with their future.”
“As it stands, booking agents and UK promoters were not aware of the situation,” Brett Hall of The Giffard Arms wrote on Facebook, “or what has happened as the post was released, and we’re in shock, like most of you, as it came up. When we do know more, I’m sure we will make further comments on what is happening and our thoughts.”
Cassidy Paris released her debut full-length, New Sensation, in December 2023 via Frontiers Music s.r.l. “My debut album is ’80s-infused, mixed with a current vibe,” Cassidy said. “Influenced by Rock Gods such as Debbie Harry, Pat Benatar, Joan Jett & Lita Ford, I’m keen to put my spin on things in a modern original way.”
Cassidy Paris is scheduled to play Call Of The Wild Festival on 1 June 2025.
