Download Festival 2024 – Saturday. Sweeping down from the Opus stage, Download alumni Enter Shikari were in full swing. Or should I say, full throttle.
The guys need no introduction, no big-up and no explanation of just how good they are live. Since headlining the pandemic’s saving grace, Download Pilot 2021, they return with nothing but open-air love for their huge audience.
Phenomenal music, all the classics, along with the startlingly good news.
To match the electronic back-drops to their rock sound, Rou Reynolds even gets into this giant box, which mimics what the person is doing inside, on its electronically presented front.
They even get Wargasm up for their collaboration song, The Void Stares Back.
One of the reliable festival greats, Enter Shikari struck again and struck damn good.
