Steve Göldby

METALTALK FOUNDER
Steve Göldby founded MetalTalk in 2009 in Middlesbrough. It was then relocated to London, where it became a household name. In January 2020, Steve passed on the Editorship to Steve Ritchie to concentrate on other musical activities, mainly KK's Priest and Ides Of March.

Two months later, we were all plunged into house arrest, and that was the end of that. With all income and revenue now lost, four years out of the music business beckoned.

In late 2024, Steve Göldby returned to MetalTalk as Head Of Strategic Development. Unfortunately, this role was never to realise its potential as Steve entered his final chapter in January 2025.

Steve Göldby will be working closely with Steve Ritchie over his final weeks, assisting with MetalTalk and all it entails and stands for.
