Bruce announced from the Download stage on June 13th that Iron Maiden would be touring the UK in 2017 and it looks as though an announcement is now possibly imminent.
Late last night (Wednesday 31st August 2016) a post appeared on the front page of the official Iron Maiden website, ironmaiden.com, stating “Maiden Announce 12 Date UK Tour In March 2017” but this was very rapidly removed, before we had a chance to view the content.
You can see the screenshot above and note two glaring typos on there, 100,00 instead of 100,000 and 31th instead of 31st. Not particularly significant for a “test post” but worth noting.
We speculated earlier in the year whether Maiden would play West Ham’s Olympic Stadium after AC/DC triumphantly christened it this summer and that remains to be seen but one thing is for certain – Iron Maiden’s gonna get ya, in the UK next year, and we can’t wait!
