King Kraken have released Shadows Fall, their third single of 2026, together with an official video. Inspired by found-footage horror and, in particular, The Blair Witch Project, the song follows a journey into the woods that grows darker and more threatening with every step. The band deliberately reversed the expected structure, placing more melody in the verses before driving into a gritty, aggressive chorus.
A sharp opening riff launches a track designed to offer no respite. As King Kraken put it, Shadows Fall “grabs you by the neck and drags you around as opposed to holding your hand.”
