Boise straight‑edge outfit Witness Chamber have dropped the new single Day To Die / Generation Loss, teasing forthcoming full‑length Bronze Gates, due 5 December on Northwest label Brain Floss Records. Produced by Charles Toshio (Sunami, Spy) and mastered by Brogun Allen, the seven‑track LP expands the band’s Metallic Hardcore with thrashy riffs, melodic vocals and a doomy fade‑out.
Drummer Jason explains the song captures the record’s theme. “This one is kind of a summary of the whole record,” Jason says, “which is to embody the feeling of dread that bad theology can instil in someone. Day To Die touches on the predetermination of entering heaven or hell.”
Day To Die follows the single Stranger, released last month. Here, a ’70s style sample that transitions into a strong “blegh” as the hard-hitting song kicks in. Emboldened vocals preside over rapid drum fills, thick guitars, and a punishing breakdown.
Witness Chamber: Chad (vocals), Hunter (guitar), Jason (drums), Charlie (bass). Select California dates run 21–23 November.
Bronze Gates is available for preorder now through Brain Floss Records.
