Symphony X / Anniversary Tour cancelled amid John Finberg scandal

Symphony X have cancelled their entire 21st Anniversary tour, as bands continue to react to the John Finberg and First Row Talent news. Primal Fear and Firewind also support the move and the entire tour will now be re-booked with new representation.

A Symphony X statement reads: “Symphony X and World Entertainment Inc effective immediately no longer work with John Finberg and First Row Talent.
“All scheduled shows and tours will be canceled and rescheduled with new representation.”

The list of bands who have ceased, or had stopped to work with the First Row Talent promoter stands at 22, with Leaves’ Eyes also making a statement yesterday.

Earlier this week, the following bands made statements: Nightwish, Epica, Amorphis, Delain, Amaranthe, Battle Beast, Sonata Arctica, Swallow the Sun, Power Glove, Angra, Hammerfall, Brittany Slays (Unleash The Archers), Insomnium, Omnium Gatherum, Overkill, Kamelot, U.D.O and Iced Earth.

There has been no official response from Finberg to these allegations.
