Kiss / “It’s Cold Gin Time Again”

Following the 2020 launch of the KISS Rum Kollection portfolio, Brands For Fans, KISS and their licensing agent, Epic Rights, have added the bold and uncompromising KISS Cold Gin to the collection. It will be in stock 25 July.

Named after the classic KISS track Cold Gin, released in 1974, this recipe incorporates a five-time distilled base with juniper, lemon peel and a selection of fine spices and no artificial flavours or added sweeteners.

Paul Stanley says, “Now it is Cold Gin time. If gin is your thing, then this is the one to bring. Like the song, this one’s a classic.

MetalTalk is told that the nose is spicy with clear tones of juniper, a generous aroma and classic gin character. The palate is well balanced with a clear character of juniper, citrus and herbs, lemon peel and angelica root, while the finish intensifies and grows in the mouth.

The bottle design is pretty cool and features the four band members metallically illustrated on each Brooklyn Bridge side. The main label features a gold disc and the iconic landmarks of New York City and the Manhattan Skyline, while the stunning art deco pattern behind the disc is based on the scales of The Demon’s boots.

The Brands For Fans website covers UK, Germany, Austria, France, Belgium and The Netherlands. In the coming months, Denmark will be added to this list.

MetalTalk is looking forward to the chance of testing the Cold Gin’s astringent character in the future.
