Kansas, the American multi-platinum album award winning legendary progressive rock band, have announced that their sixteenth album, ‘The Absence Of Presence’, will hit the shelves 26 June 2020. Ahead of this landmark release a teasing trailer has been unleashed today giving an encapsulating flavour of what we can expect.
Ronnie Platt tells us: “We are really excited for our fans to be able to get a taste of what is to come from ‘The Absence of Presence. I think people will really be surprised by the album. ‘The Absence of Presence’ shows the band firing on all cylinders.”
‘The Absence Of Presence’ is the followup to 2016’s ‘The Prelude Implicit’, their first album since the turn of the century, and it will be interesting to see how the settled lineup are now working together.
Zak Rizvi tells us: “We are really proud of the album. Making a new Kansas album sets a very high musical standard that is expected from our fans. From rockers, to progressive epics, to ballads, there is something on this recording for everybody”.
