Wicked Go Rebel In London – Win Tickets And Signed Merch For Dublin

Win tickets to see Wicked with Kings Of Thrash in Dublin, plus a signed merch bundle from the band.

Hailing from Rochester, New York, Wicked have dropped their new album Go Rebel and last night played their first European show at The Underworld with Kings Of Thrash. “Your New York boys kicked off the tour by putting a little bit of anarchy back in the UK last night in London,” lead vocalist Chad Michael told MetalTalk after last night’s show.

A tight six-song set was embraced by The Underworld faithful, with tracks like the new single Bones and album opener Teen Riot shining stars, delighting Chad Michael. “A curious crowd was transformed into a rock ‘n’ roll riot scene,” he told us, “with fists in the air and smiles from ear to ear. We’re already having a blast finding our European brethren as we explore the cities.”

Wicked had promised to bring “a heavy dose of high-energy songs from our latest album Go Rebel and some surprise tracks too.”

Released last Friday, Go Rebel is a vivacious blast of glam-infused hard rock, driven by sharp riffs, oversized choruses and an infectious sense of fun. Yes, you get the ’70s glam edge and sleazy New York rock, but on tracks like Sunflower and Bones, rock-punk collides with an infectious groove.

The swaggering title track is another immediate highlight, as is the awesome guitar ballad Till You’re In Love. Thirteen tracks and 50 minutes might test that momentum, but Go Rebel carries its energy right through to the finish. This is one I have enjoyed across the summer with the windows down.

“We wanted to make a rock album that could be the soundtrack for the scene,” Danny Martin said. “Something you put your leather and studs on for.”

Brian Boyle will cover Wicked for MetalTalk when the tour reaches Dublin, and you can join us at The Sound House in Dublin on 1 September 2026 with Kings Of Thrash. We have a pair of tickets to give away, and Wicked will present you with a signed merch bundle on the night.

“The tour package is tight and packed with excitement from start to finish,” Chad Michael said. “We can’t wait to light up the next room with raw rock ‘n’ roll power and see everybody at the next stop.”

As Gunnar Coston said, “Hard Rock still has plenty of life in it, and we’re feeding the flames,” and, at The Underworld, those flames were well and truly stoked by a crowd that embraced the New Yorkers.

Unashamedly loud, colourful and celebratory, Wicked look exactly like the kind of band European audiences will take to their hearts.
