UK rocker Dan Byrne has signed with Frontiers Records and will release his debut album This Is Where The Show Begins on 22 May 2026 via the Italian label. The announcement lands alongside new single Saviour, a towering slice of melodic Heavy Metal that is streaming now, complete with a performance video.
“This album has been a long time coming for me and many of my fans,” Dan Byrne told us, “so I have truly poured my heart and soul into it. The journey to get here has been a wild one, full of moments that shaped me, challenged me and pushed me further than I ever expected to go as a young lad from Liverpool. I have lived with these songs for a little while now and I am so proud to finally release them into the world. It feels incredible.”

“Signing with Frontiers Records has given this whole chapter an energy and excitement I have never felt before,” Dan continues. “In many ways it feels like the stars have aligned at exactly the right moment. I have been working so hard behind the scenes and I do feel like I have come up with an album that represents me, not just as a musician but as a person. Every track tells a part of the story. Some songs are loud and unapologetic, some are vulnerable and cinematic, but they all come from a very real place.”
Steelhouse Live managers Max and Mikey add that Frontiers, who celebrate three decades at the forefront of rock this year, are the perfect home for Byrne. “We believe it is passion that drives success and in Frontiers, Dan now has a label team that is hugely passionate about his music and totally committed to helping him deliver his artistic vision.”
Saviour is the first taste of This Is Where The Show Begins and the ideal album opener. Attention-grabbing hard rock stabs and pile-driving riffs give way to a huge chorus built for big rooms. The song struts, shimmies and absolutely rocks, lighting the fuse for a record that balances swagger with sensitivity.
Second track She’s The Devil keeps the energy high with a colossal vocal and wild lead work, while elsewhere Praise Hell goes full revival tent and Sober is stained with late-night regret. Album closer Home hints at future directions, a sprawling alt-rock epic that would sit somewhere between Glenn Hughes and 30 Seconds To Mars if they ever joined forces.
Byrne first arrived as a solo artist in 2023 with the Beginnings EP and has been building serious momentum ever since. In just two years he has toured the UK three times, delivered standout sets at multiple festivals and picked up Heavy rotation on Planet Rock, where his first four singles spent a combined 25 weeks on the playlist.
With that foundation in place, This Is Where The Show Begins feels like the natural next step in his evolution.
