Bernie Marsden will host An Evening With in Bicester on 12 May 2022 to launch the vinyl versions of his Chess and Kings albums. The albums are part of his Inspirations series, where he revisits artists and tracks that kindled his love of music.
Kings features ten songs originally recorded by Albert, B.B., and Freddie King, while Chess features artists songs by artists such as Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry, who recorded at Chess Records, an American record company established in 1950 in Chicago.
The third album in the series is called Trios and features Bernies versions of songs recorded by some of the greatest power trios in history. The single Black Cat Moan will be released through Conquest Music on 22 April 2022. The album will be out this summer.
