Chris Dale is a proud Welshman with many talents. Known predominantly as a monster bass player with Atom Seed, Bruce Dickinson, Tank and Balance Of Power, Chris has graced many an international stage.


Chris is also a published author of two books on German military history and the wonderful Inside The Skunkworks Machine about his time in Bruce Dickinson's band. His three-part MetalTalk article about Bruce Dickinson's famous gig in war-torn Sarajevo became the basis of the award-winning Scream For Me Sarajevo documentary.

He is also very well-versed in Belgian beer and Kiss. His unique articles for MetalTalk are both informative and very funny. Chris can be found these days on the side of many stages as a working roadie. If you see him, buy him any Belgian beer, and he will be most grateful.
