The first two Uriah Heep albums will be released as limited edition vinyl collector picture discs by BMG on 28 January 2022. Each disc’s artwork features the original artwork, retouched to meticulous detail.
Released in 1970, Uriah Heep’s pioneering debut album ‘… Very’ Eavy …Very ‘Umble’ features their first single, the classic Gypsy, written by Mick Box and David Byron. The artwork features original frontman David Byron, almost unrecognisable beneath cobwebs.
Salisbury, the bands second album, contains the hits High Priestess and Lady In Black. The 16-minute title track features a 24-piece orchestra and is the first album to feature the songwriting of Ken Hensley.
Both albums contain the original audio recorded in Landsdowne studios.
