The Dead Daisies / Rise Up, Live From Daisyland, a splendid memory of recent tour

Rise Up (Live From Daisyland) is the first of four live tracks released from The Dead Daisies. The song was recorded at Rock City, Nottingham, on their recent tour, and sound engineer Tommy Dimitroff has captured the electric atmosphere from the shows perfectly.

“Hey friends,” Doug Aldrich says, “check out this live recording of Rise Up from our UK tour last fall. It was a great night, and we love the UK.”

Bustle And Flow, Long Way To Go, and the fantastic extended version of Burn are the next tracks to be released.

The Like No Other Tour was a massive success, with MetalTalk noting that the next chapter of The Dead Daisies book was already passing into legend. You can read our report from London here.

With dates set for this year, it looks like this beast will be rampaging across the planet, bringing the healing power of rock ‘n’ roll to all corners of the globe for a long time to come.

Doug and David are currently in New York “working on song” ideas, with Glenn and new drummer Brian Tichy set to join them towards the end of the month.
