The Dead Daisies drop video for Holy Ground (Shake The Memory)

The Dead Daisies have today dropped the video for the new single ‘Holy Ground (Shake The Memory)’, the title track from their upcoming album due out 22 January 2021.

Doug Aldrich described the song to MetalTalk as “a deep intense musical ride that takes unexpected turns and drops you off exhausted but happy!!”

You can also hear ‘Holy Ground (Shake The Memory)’ on MetalTalk’s Soundcloud Tracks of the Week Playlist.

The track was the first song Glenn Hughes wrote for the pre-production sessions at Sunset Sound Studios in Los Angeles.

Hughes tells us: “Holy Ground has an intense groove, dramatic light and shade and a massive chorus. It is about awakening to the present moment, shaking the memory and a transformation into consciousness.”

The band recently re-grouped for a jam in Los Angeles to reignite their energy and chemistry by playing tracks from their new album.
