Plush / Slash tour awaits as band celebrate Better Off Alone

Plush, fresh from their tour with Mammoth WVH, have released the fantastic single Better Off Alone as the girls prepare to tour with Slash next month.

“I love the musicality of Better Off Alone,” Drummer Brooke Colucci told MetalTalk. “The tom groove during the verses is a lot of fun to play. I’m very excited to play this song live, as I believe the crowd will really be able to get into this song.”

Ashley Suppa has been called the female version of Cliff Burton. “This song is not only representative of heartbreak and anger,” Ashley said, “but also the independence of those feelings and the person who is causing you pain. Leaving is never easy, but at times it is necessary. These are the moments in which you truly will be Better Off Alone.”

Plush are fronted by singer, songwriter and guitarist Moriah Formica who famously auditioned for NBC’s The Voice at 16. She became one of the youngest competitors in the show’s history to turn all four judge’s chairs and the only NBC’s The Voice contestant to get all four chairs performing a rock-based song. “Better Off Alone is a song about realising what’s best for you and then doing it,” Moriah said. “I really hope everyone connects with this song and enjoys it.”

“I feel Better Off Alone represents our chemistry as a band,” Guitarist Bella Perron said, “and showcases our vision of empowerment while also highlighting each of our own musical personalities.”
