London based trio Mercutio will release the single ‘Slap Bang’ this Friday (17 July), but you can see the video for the track below.
The video was filmed pre-lockdown and is a great reminder of the old normality with bedroom shots and fans enjoying themselves at gigs.
The band features guitarist and founding member Fabio Staffieri, drummer Francesco Lucidi (from Elton John’s band and featured in the recent ‘Rocketman’ film) and vocalist Ross William Wild, who was recently added to the band.
The band explained to MetalTalk that “Since Ross joined the band, his unbelievable energy and attitude made us feel the need to go back to our roots and unleash some dirty grunge vibes but stay true to our style.”
