Mason Hill have confirmed a run of UK headline dates for March 2026, following the rapid sell out of their recent comeback shows in London and Glasgow. The Scottish Heavy Metal five piece will hit the road with new vocalist and frontman Tom Ward, giving fans across the country the first real taste of the band’s next chapter.
“We’re hitting the road and bringing the show to a city near you in March 2026,” says guitarist James Bird. “New music, loud nights – come and be a part of it.”
Bassist Matt Ward adds: “We are on such a high after returning to the stage over the last couple of weeks. It took us just over two years from our last show to get back up there, and you better believe we won’t be waiting around too long to get back up there again! We will be firing on all cylinders in March around the UK bringing everyone their favourite Mason Hill songs, and playing a whole bunch of new songs. Tickets are already running low, so grab one while you still can and we’ll see you out there!”
Mason Hill have also released their huge new single Remember through 7hz Productions. The track is the first music to feature new singer Tom Ward and marks a darker, more intense direction for the band, both lyrically and sonically.
Loaded with emotion and driven by a brooding contemporary edge, Remember sees Mason Hill return in spectacular style, adding more dynamics and depth than ever before.
The single was produced by Dan Weller (Enter Shikari, Bury Tomorrow, Those Damn Crows), and is the first step towards a new Mason Hill studio album. Around half of the record has already been tracked, with the remaining songs due to be recorded with Weller, and an early 2026 release is expected.
New vocalist Tom Ward says: “Joining Mason Hill has been transformational for me – 12 months of hard graft, anticipation and gearing up to tear up the stage. Together we’ve been creating an album which is raw, powerful and pure Mason Hill.”
While the core of Mason Hill remains, guitarist James Bird, guitarist Marc Montgomery, bassist Matt Ward and drummer Craig McFetridge, Ward’s versatile voice brings new dimensions to the band’s signature Heavy Metal sound, switching from emotive whisper to arena-ready power in a heartbeat.
“We’re still Mason Hill, but in some ways, it feels like we’re a brand-new band,” James says. “With Tom in the line-up, we’ve got a new energy. The new music was obviously still Mason Hill, but we didn’t want it to be a copy of the first album. When Tom put his voice to some of the demos we’d sent, that was when we knew this could work.”
The road to this point has not been easy. Since forming over a decade ago, Mason Hill have faced false starts, difficult record deals and a six year gap between their 2015 debut EP and 2021’s Against The Wall album.
That record ultimately arrived in the middle of the Covid pandemic, robbing the band of crucial touring time. The departure of original singer Scott Taylor at the end of 2023 was another major hurdle.
“There have been times over the years when we weren’t even sure we’d be able to keep on being a band,” James admits. “Even just before Tom came in, we were so close to saying, ‘Well, we tried, but let’s call it a day.’ But there’s a stubbornness and determination and passion in us that has kept us going.”
Tom adds: “It feels like a turning point. We’re super-hungry for it.”
“All the good stuff and the bad stuff, I’m glad it happened in a sense,” James concludes. “Because without it we wouldn’t be in this place we’re in right now, talking about new songs, which I couldn’t be more excited about. We’re so ready to get back out there. This is who we are now. This is Mason Hill.”
Mason Hill are also confirmed for Takedown Festival in Portsmouth on 4 April 2026, and Steelhouse Festival, Ebbw Vale, across the weekend of 24–26 July 2026. Tickets for the tour are available from gigantic.com/mason-hill-tickets.
