Long Distance Calling Announce New Album The Phantom Void

Long Distance Calling are back with new music and a fresh chapter in their story. The German instrumental rock and Metal outfit have announced a new studio album, The Phantom Void, arriving on 10 April 2026 via earMUSIC.

Leading the announcement is the first single, A Secret Place, out now alongside a new video. The band describe The Phantom Void as the shortest, hardest and strongest release of their career. This is a focused, fully instrumental record built around dark, cinematic atmosphere and an emotionally charged narrative.

Rather than treating the visuals as an afterthought, Long Distance Calling are framing this era as an interconnected audiovisual project. The clip of A Secret Place is presented as chapter one, with more pieces planned to unfold over the coming months. Themes of recurring nightmares, endless loops and an unseen, inescapable threat are intended to mirror the album’s mood and tension.

  • 1LP Pearl Flip / Dawn Gatefold Heavyweight 180g
  • 1LP Glow In The Dark Gatefold Heavyweight 180g (shop exclusive)

The first pressing of all formats features an embossed logo and fluorescent highlights, designed to emphasise the album’s visual identity.
