Leaves’ Eyes to wield Tyrfing at Myths Of Fate in March

Leaves’ Eyes have released their new single Forged By Fire from a new album, Myths Of Fate, set for release this year on AFM Records. The band have also announced four UK shows for March.

“Finally, the time has come, and we can present you our new video, Forged By Fire,” Alexander Krull told MetalTalk. “We played Forged By Fire on stage at Wacken as a world premiere, and the song was enthusiastically celebrated by the fans. 

“Here’s the video with an awesome storyline about the legendary Tyrfing sword and a fiery performance in the truest sense of the word. With Forged By Fire, we are starting a series of videos with the magical theme of the new album Myths Of Fate! Are you ready to travel with us into the world of sagas?”

Harald Sigurdsson, known as Harald of Norway, was the King Of Norway (as Harald III) from 1046 to 1066. This was the subject of Leaves’ Eyes previous album, The Last Viking. As Harald lay on the battlefield, taking his last few breaths, his life flashed before him. These life events were told by stories of The Last Viking. 

The Last Viking was a refreshing throwback to when albums were albums.
