Jeff Scott Soto will release The Duets Collection, Vol. 1 on 8 October through Frontiers. The album is a fascinating retrospective of his favourite songs from his career, re-recorded and performed as duets with vocalist friends.
The song Mysterious has been released. Mysterious is a track performed initially by Soto with Talisman, and here he is joined by Eric Martin from Mr Big.
Soto recorded Volume 1 during COVID-19 downtime and his break from his usual relentless touring schedule, and the project soon turned into an international affair.
“It was a DREAM to cast these voices, and I am so amped for you to hear the results,” Soto says.
Volume 1 also includes appearances from Erik Mårtensson (Eclipse, W.E.T.), Johnny Gioeli (Hardline), Deen Castronovo (Revolution Saints, Journey), Nathan James (Inglorious), Russell Allen (Symphony X), Renan Zonta (Electric Mob), Dino Jelusick, Mats Leven (Candlemass, TSO), BJ (Spektra, SOTO) and Alirio Netto (Shaman, Queen Extravaganza).
