Ice Nine Kills have unveiled a new wave of iconic special guests for the debut UK edition of Silver Scream Con, which will take place from 13 to 14 December at London’s Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch. The announcement lands as the band gear up for their biggest UK tour to date, culminating in a huge headline show at London’s OVO Wembley Arena.
Leading the latest additions is Academy Award-nominated actor Juliette Lewis, known for explosive turns in films such as Natural Born Killers, Cape Fear and cult favourite From Dusk Till Dawn. She will be joined by modern scream-queen Rose McGowan, star of Scream, Jawbreaker and Planet Terror, whose work helped define a generation of horror cinema.
Adding even more slasher pedigree to the weekend is James Jude Courtney, the terrifying embodiment of Michael Myers in Halloween (2018), Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. The lineup also expands with Terrifier star Samantha Scaffidi, whose performance as Victoria Heyes became a defining element of the franchise, alongside Nadia Teichmann, star of several Ice Nine Kills videos. Rising talent Amelie McLain, best known as young Tiffany Valentine in the hit Chucky TV series, rounds out the latest wave of guests.
These names join an already stacked cast that includes horror icon Doug Bradley, forever immortalised as Pinhead in Hellraiser, Terrifier creator Damien Leone and actor David Howard Thornton, as well as Ice Nine Kills mastermind Spencer Charnas.
The UK edition of Silver Scream Con follows four hugely successful years in the United States, where it has rapidly grown into one of the premier horror conventions. Outgrowing its original location near Salem, Massachusetts in just two years, the event moved to the much larger DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.
This year’s US edition drew around 12,500 attendees over the weekend, with guests including Danny Trejo, Rose McGowan, Matthew Lillard and Skeet Ulrich. In one unforgettable moment, WWE star Rhea Ripley, who initially arrived as a fan, ended up being “murdered” on stage by Art The Clown during an Ice Nine Kills performance.
“When we began discussing the international expansion of Silver Scream Con, the UK felt like the perfect starting point,” says frontman Spencer Charnas. “London has such a rich horror tradition and has always been wickedly kind to our band. Like An American Werewolf In London, the first-ever Silver Scream Con UK is certain to raise some hell.”
Across the weekend, attendees can expect photo opportunities with stars in costume, panels, autograph sessions, exclusive merch drops and the immersive, horror-themed chaos that Silver Scream Con has quickly become known for. The convention arrives hot on the heels of Ice Nine Kills’ massive UK tour, which will see the band deliver the largest and most theatrical headline shows of their career. Ice Nine Kills have carved out a unique niche by blending extreme Metal and melody with a flair for narrative immersion. Their breakthrough albums The Silver Scream and The Silver Scream 2: Welcome To Horrorwood delivered high-concept songs inspired by classic horror cinema, spawning fan favourites such as the gold-certified single A Grave Mistake, A Work Of Art (from Terrifier 3) and the adrenaline-charged epic The Great Unknown.
Beyond the records, the band have built an entire INKverse around their music, including elaborate videos, the Psychos Only fan club, mock true-crime books, the Inked In Blood graphic novels, monthly Nightmare On The 9th merch drops and the annual Silver Scream Convention. Led by Spencer Charnas, Ice Nine Kills have toured with Slipknot, been named Rock Sound’s Best Live Act and were handpicked by Metallica for their M72 World Tour.
In 2025, Charnas also launched the Pretty Evil personal care line and co-wrote the upcoming feature film The Slashin’ Of The Christ alongside Paul Soter (Super Troopers), with the movie produced by Greg Nicotero and Brian Witten.
