Gig Of The Week / Alestorm Ready To Set Sail For America

Alestorm hits Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle this week before closing their UK Tour at O2 Forum Kentish Town on Saturday, 9 March 2024. Korpiklaani and Heidevolk join for what promises to be an epic evening. The Forum has bookended this current tour, and MetalTalk will be there to wave the band off.

The band then cross the pond for a tour, which kicks off on 19 March in Cincinnati, OH and features support from Elvenking and Glyph. Prior to this, they will release their new EP, Voyage Of The Dead Marauder, on 22 March via Napalm Records.

“Hey uhhhhh, we got bored of playing the same old songs,” Chris Bowes said, “so we wrote this little EP with some new ones. They’re secretly about frogs. I hope you like frogs.

“Also, we’re super excited to have Patty Gurdy singing on the title track. There’s something weird and awesome about Alestorm when we have an actual vocalist who can sing instead of my horrific vocals. Yeaaaghhhhh!”
