Melodic rockers FM release their latest studio album, Thirteen, on 18 March 2022 through Frontiers. The suitably titled album is their thirteenth album, and the new single Waiting On Love, complete with Harold Lloyd in 1920s Los Angeles, shows the band are still in impressive form.
The current lineup has been together since 2008. The rhythm section of bassist Merv Goldsworthy and drummer Pete Jupp anchor the band with a rock-solid backbone, guitarist Jim Kirkpatrick delivers delicious hooks full of melody and keyboardist Jem Davis adds lush layers to their dynamic sound.
Steve’ The Voice’ Overland’s voice is impressive, keeping the bands melodic rock torch burning bright.
FM start a UK tour with Grand Slam at the end of March before hitting mainland Europe in May.
They play the Northern Kin Festival in Durham on 1 May 2022 as well as The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival, Colne, Cacaofabriek, Helmond and Antwerp’s All Star Fest later in the year.
