Flying Colors / Stunning track ‘Kayla’ released from the upcoming live album

Taken from the ‘Third Stage: Live in London’ album scheduled for release on 18 September via Music Theories Recordings, Flying Colors have this morning unveiled the stunning live performance of the track ‘Kayla’.

Singer/guitarist Casey McPherson told MetalTalk:  “One of my favourite rock anthems we’ve written. Steve’s melodic epic solos get me every time on this tune.

“Maybe it’s to the daughter, the mother, the wife, the friend, but in all, encouraging and celebrating the beauty and power of femininity!”

Filmed on the sold-out final night of the US/European tour at the iconic Grade II Listed Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London, the evening went down in folklore as a stunning event full of crafted performances by breathtaking musicians, and that this was captured in all its glory is fantastic.

McPherson said of the evening: “I remember how I felt right before the show in London. I was excited because my oldest daughter and her grandmother was there, whom I love dearly, and felt like I had the show, down by then.

“It’s always a good feeling to take the stage when the material is ingrained enough to just let go and let it out!”

The album will be released on several formats including, Orange transparent 3LP, Blu-ray, digitally, 2CD/DVD and a 40-page Earbook which includes 5 discs; 2CD album, 2DVDs and a Blu-ray.

Hella Rock Festival

The Blu-ray and DVDs in the Earbook also include bonus material of music videos and concert footage of their Morsefest 2019 performance in Cross Plains, Tennessee.
