Extreme unleash two fiery singles from upcoming album Six – Banshee and #Rebel

Extreme have followed up the success of the single Rise by sharing two new singles, Banshee and #Rebel, taken from their new album Six, due on 9 June 2023 via earMusic. Rise, with its fiery music video, has received almost 2 1/2 million views to date.

If Rise found hard rock fans whetting their appetites for the new album, then the two single singles are sure to rip this off the scale. #Rebel finds Gary Cherone (vocals), Nuno Bettencourt (guitar), Pat Badger (bass), and Kevin Figueiredo (drums) in explosive form, serving a scathing attack on so-called keyboard warriors.

“We’re calling out those trolls who can’t back up their words,” Cherone said. It’s certainly a head-nodding drive, and with searing dive-bomb lead guitar runs, it highlights the harder edge to the band’s sound.

With Banshee, we find a seductive classic hard rocker that testifies to the power and inspiration of the female form and spirit. Six can be pre-ordered from https://officialextreme.lnk.to/SIX.

Extreme take their Thicker Than Blood Tour across North America with the first shows on this weekend’s Monsters of Rock Cruise before hitting the M3 Rock Festival in Columbia on 6/7 May.

The band hit Australia on 6 September 2023 with special guests Living Colour before travelling to Japan for shows later in that month. Tickets are available now, including North American VIP upgrades, which include access to the band’s soundcheck.
