Bloodstock Festival has announced the bands that have won through the New Blood online submission process, and dates are set for 29 regions geared up for Metal 2 The Masses, including initiatives from Croatia and Poland.Â
Fridays New Blood stage will find Lokust, who will release their debut album this year, joined by Stoke On Trent’s Headpress, who describe themselves as “Heavy as fuck,” and Street Soldier, who have released their One Man Gang EP.
Saturday will see South Wales Black Metal collective Ofnus on the New Blood stage, along with riff-laden Manchester Metal trio Vice, Irish doomsters Soothsayer, and Danish modern Death Metal squad Nakkeknaekker, a band with an average age of 18.
Sunday’s New Blood stage lineup includes East Anglican Thrashers Eliminaton, Northern Ireland rock trio Skypilot and Nottingham extreme noise terrorists Outergods.
The finals kick off this Saturday, 29 April, at Leicester’s O2 Academy and roll through to Saturday, 8 July at Oxford’s Jericho Tavern. Full dates are detailed below, so be sure to get out and support both bands and venues near you.
