Epica / To stream ΩMEGA ALIVE, plus 2022 dates announced

5 May 2021

The Epic Apocalypse Tour, with Dutch Symphonic titans Epica, Finnish cellist Apocalyptica and supported by Wheel, has been moved to 2022.

The tour will kick off on 6 January 2022 in Leipzig, and the bands will perform all over Europe, including a five-date run in the UK.

The news comes as Epica have announced ΩMEGA Alive, a live streaming event that promises to be their most significant production to date.

Simone Simons told MetalTalk: “Third time is a charm! Our new tour dates are now official. We promise you all that it will be worth the wait. We can’t wait to be up on the metal stages again with our friends from Apocalyptica. See you very soon! Stay safe and stay Metal”

Apocalyptica told us: “Of course we are very sad about the fact that we have to postpone the Epic Apocalypse Tour again, but looking at the current situation, there is no other option. We are very much looking forward to playing this tour together with the amazing people from EPICA, and to finally being back on stage again!”

Tour tickets are available from epica.nl/tour, while ΩMEGA Alive tickets can be purchased from epicastream.com
