Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy And The Conspirators have returned with Flying Blind, the title track and lead single from a new 12-song studio album arriving on 26 February 2027 via Gibson Records. A world tour has also been announced, including six UK and Ireland shows.
The record is the band’s first full-length studio album since 2022’s 4. It was recorded largely live at Studio Barbarosa in Florida with longtime producer Michael ‘Elvis’ Baskette, capturing the group playing together rather than constructing songs from separate studio performances.
“It’s a really fun, kind of spontaneous rock ‘n’ roll record,” Slash said. “It’s very straightforward and down-to-earth and raw.”

Flying Blind: New Single And Album
The title track began with a guitar riff Slash developed during pre-production. Myles Kennedy describes its lyrics as an exploration of the shortcuts people sometimes take when seeking happiness or enlightenment. The single’s official music video was filmed at The Viper Room in Los Angeles and directed by John Harvatine IV.
The album features Slash on guitar and pedal steel, Kennedy on vocals, Todd Kerns on bass, Brent Fitz on drums and Frank Sidoris on rhythm guitar. Its songs range from the country-tinged Good Time Girl and the riff-driven Sweet Kill to Looking For A Miracle, which includes Slash’s first recorded pedal steel solo.
Kennedy praised the results of the sessions. “Out of all the records, the sounds and performances on Flying Blind are my favourite. It’s very present. It’s right there.”
