Crown Lands to play Londons Omeara in May

The amazing Crown Lands will play their first UK show at Omeara in London on 16 May 2022. The duo will also perform at Brighton’s Great Escape Festival on 12 May.

“I’ve been looking forward to playing the UK for a couple of years now,” Cody Bowles told MetalTalk, “ever since we planned to play there a few years ago. It’s finally happening in London, and I couldn’t be more excited to experience first-hand the feeling of playing on another continent in front of a whole new audience. Bringing our music across the pond and spreading our important messages through the world is truly realizing a lifelong dream of mine.”

Kevin Comeau: “One of the most important shows of our lives.”

Kevin Comeau is not lost on the significance of the event. “This, being our debut show in the UK, makes it one of the most important shows of our lives,” he said. “All of our favourite North American acts have truly ‘arrived’ when they play in London. Now it’s our time! The historical significance of playing London is not lost on us. It’s time to blow some international minds.”

Crown Lands released their self-titled debut album in 2020. It is not often you come across something so spectacular and groundbreaking in this day and age, MetalTalk said, but as a debut album, Crown Lands have cracked a nugget here.

The EP White Buffalo followed in 2021, half an hour of sheer beauty, MetalTalk said it is easily their best material yet.

Support is from Haunt The Woods. Tickets will be available from Friday, 25 February at 10am UK time.
