Beermageddon Festival still hopeful of getting the go ahead.

This years Beermageddon Festival, which is to be headlined by former Iron Maiden singer Paul Di’Anno and Ides Of March, still looks like it may go ahead, according to a statement by the organisers today.

The Festival is also trying to raise some funds to upgrade the shower and toilet blocks and are holding a raffle to win the very last pair of tickets.

The statement reads: “As we creep ever closer to this years festival things are looking very bright indeed, lockdown is being eased and we still have 12 weeks until we descend on Stoke Prior, Pubs, Clubs, Restaurants, and Hospitality are looking set to open early next month, so by the August Bank Holiday we should be firing on all cylinders ready to bring the Brutality to Bromsgrove.

“When tickets sold out back in January, we did hope to release some more tickets to take us right up to capacity, of course back then we had no idea how much Coronavirus was going to impact our lives, so now we have made the decision we will not be putting any more tickets on sale to ensure the festival can be held as safely as possible for everyone.

“There is a chance though to get your hands on a couple of our very special complimentary tickets!

“The shower block and toilet block at Geddon were damaged during the storms earlier this year and funds are being raised to get them up to scratch for all the festivals at the club, Beermageddon have donated a pair of tickets to the cause, CURRENTLY THE ONLY PAIR OF TICKETS AVAILABLE, and you can win them in a very special raffle!”

For details see the Beermageddon Facebook Page.
