WRITER
Emma Brown's passion for music has been a lifelong affair, and her love of audio is behind each and every project she undertakes. Currently studying BSc Audio and Music Technology at Anglia Ruskin University, Emma describes herself as a versatile individual who enjoys everything from being an audio engineer and working in studios to being a podcaster, presenter, radio host, musician and music journalist.

Beginning her work in audio before even finishing her GCSEs, Emma was already volunteering at a local radio station, working both behind and in front of the microphone, controlling the desks. Emma then went on to study Music Production and Technology at Stamford College, and expanded upon her skillset, finding a love for music journalism along the way.

From there, Emma went on to study at Anglia Ruskin University and has spent the last three years developing her knowledge and interests in many areas of the industry. Emma loves the industry she works in for so many reasons. But to name a few, she loves that things are always changing, there are always new people to connect with, and she is always working on something new.

Emma is passionate about women in audio and hopes to encourage more young women to pursue their goals of getting a job in the music industry, no matter what anyone says.
