Atlas / Explosive New Single All Or Nothing Sets the Stage for Built To Last

With their roots in ’80s AOR, prog and melodic rock, Atlas will deliver their third album, Built To Last, on 20 October 2023 via Metalapolis Records. The bombastic new single All Or Nothing has just been released, which pushes their expressive modern hard rock and Metal credentials to the fore. The engrossing cinematic performance film accompanying the single can be seen below.

“All Or Nothing was written with an album opener in mind,” the band told us. “We wanted to write a track that had a lot of energy, heavy but still having melodic elements, and with a huge hooky chorus.”

And what an opening it is. Not only a classy album opener, All Or Nothing lends itself to a wonderous set opener. The heavier, live version would make for a captivating start to a set. The track also bodes well for the full album.

“We wanted to represent elements of the whole album in one song,” the band said, “which was a challenge, but we always love to rise to a challenge.”

Keyboard player James Thorley founded Atlas in 2017. He is now joined by Craig Wells (lead vocals), Howie Little (lead guitars), Chris Redfearn (bass guitar), and Ryan Briggs (drums).

Their second album, Parallel Love, charted in Japan at #36 and debuted in the Top 10 Amazon Classic Rock Albums Chart on release week. Atlas have toured the UK, sharing the stage with The Quireboys, Eric Martin (Mr Big), FM, Vega, Big Country, and Praying Mantis.
