Alter Bridge will launch their self titled eighth studio album and a major European tour in early 2026, marking more than two decades of relentless Heavy rock from one of the genre’s most consistent bands.
Simply titled Alter Bridge, the album is due for release on 9 January 2026 via Napalm Records and is available to pre order now in a wide range of CD and vinyl formats. Recorded over two months at Eddie Van Halen’s legendary 5150 studio in California and producer Michael ‘Elvis’ Baskette’s studio in Florida, the record features 12 brand new tracks that lean into everything fans love about the quartet’s sound.
From the hard driving punch of Rue The Day, Disregarded and Scales Are Falling to the vocal trade offs between Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti on Trust In Me and Tested And Able, the album promises towering hooks, precision riffs and the kind of emotive dynamics that have made Alter Bridge such a reliable arena force. Closer Slave To Master is the longest song they have recorded to date, an epic that looks set to join the likes of Blackbird as a live centrepiece.
To support the release the band have announced the What Lies Within Tour, a 31 date European run featuring special guests Daughtry and Sevendust. The trek begins on 15 January in Hamburg and winds across Scandinavia, Central Europe and the Mediterranean before hitting the UK and Ireland for a final stretch of arena shows. Tickets are available from here.
