I had been eagerly waiting for this night to witness an incredible lineup as the much-awaited Thrown were joined by Graphic Nature, Unity TX and Crystal Lake in setting the stage on fire at the Electric Ballroom stop on the Excessive Guilt Tour.

Graphic Nature
In a sold-out Electric Ballroom filled with high expectations, Graphic Nature proved once again that they are one of the most intense and brutal acts in the modern UK scene.
From the moment they stepped on stage, opening with Headstone, the band set a claustrophobic and adrenaline-charged atmosphere: strobe lights, distorted sounds, and an air filled with tension immediately pulled the crowd into a sonic whirlwind that was impossible to escape.
Vocalist Harvey Freeman, with his imposing and visceral presence, dominated the stage, switching between devastating growls and desperate screams, showcasing the emotional depth that defines their music. I even had the chance to chat with him at the merch stand – he is such a down-to-earth guy.
Tracks like Killing Floor and White Noise completely took over the audience, with a constant mosh pit. Their crushing breakdowns turned the room into a wave of moving bodies. Songs like Bad Blood revealed the band’s more melodic yet still rough side.
Ending with Fractured, Graphic Nature showed that they are not just a promise in the UK Metalcore scene – they are a sure thing.
Untiy TX
Unity TX delivered a performance that confirmed their spot in the international Hardcore-Rap-Metal scene. Stepping on stage with World Of Malice, one of the tracks from their latest album Ferality, they also included songs like Diamond Diez and Roch Sh!t.
Tracks like these set the crowd on fire, blending devastating breakdowns with hip-hop grooves. Their performance stood out for its overwhelming energy and the ability to engage the audience, transforming the entire venue into one big mosh pit.
Untiy TX showed flawless cohesion on stage, with a solid rhythm section and sharp guitars that kept the intensity high throughout their set. The vocalist’s stage presence, combined with his ability to interact with the crowd, made the performance even more memorable, especially during Heinous, one of the band’s latest releases.
Ruckus and RoC Sh!t were the tracks that closed an incredible set, and Unity TX proved to be one of the most promising and original bands in the international Hardcore scene. Their ability to mix genres and convey genuine emotions makes them a band to keep an eye on for the future.
Crystal Lake
Crystal Lake were the last opening band before the highly anticipated Thrown on their Excessive Guilt Tour, and let me tell you something – they were breathtaking. Their performance left me speechless.
The Japanese/American band brought a short but intense set to the London stage, leaving an unforgettable impression. Tracks like BlüdGod, Disobey, and Hail To The Fire set the room on fire while the crowd went wild during Six Feet Under.
Crystal Lake demonstrated an overwhelming stage presence. Metalcore, electronic elements, and Nu-Metal influences created an electrifying atmosphere, with powerful breakdowns and catchy melodies. The audience responded with pure enthusiasm, turning the venue into a pulsing mosh pit.
John Robert Centorrino, with his contagious energy, led the band through a flawless performance, interacting with the crowd and keeping the intensity high. Crystal Lake delivered a memorable performance at the Electric Ballroom, finishing their set with Apollo and once again proving their ability to blend genres.
Thrown
Finally, on the stage of the Electric Ballroom, we saw Thrown, the rapidly rising Swedish band, perform at their last UK date of the Excessive Guilt Tour.
Hitting the stage at 10:00 PM, the already hyped crowd welcomed Thrown with enthusiasm, turning the venue into a whirlwind of energy.
The set opened with Backfire, followed by tracks like Dwell, New Low, Guilt, and Parasite from their EP Extended Pain. Their music, marked by sharp riffs, powerful breakdowns, and introspective lyrics, found its perfect expression live.
Vocalist Marcus Lundqvist proved to be an intense presence, focusing more on the intensity of the performance than on verbal entertainment, maintaining a dark atmosphere throughout the show. We had already noticed this at the Heavy Music Awards and when they opened for While She Sleeps.
Other songs like Look At Me, Bitter Friend, and On The Verge were explosive, with the crowd eager to lose their minds during these tracks.
The night ran smoothly, technically speaking, with a clean and powerful sound that enhanced every instrument. The choice to use backing tracks for some parts helped maintain sonic cohesion without compromising the authenticity of the performance.
And with Grayout to wrap up the night, Thrown proved to be one of the strongest and most exciting acts in today’s European Metalcore scene.
No frills, devastating sounds, and with an intensity that is hard to forget.
