The Raven Age sign with Music For Nations/Sony with new album due next year

The Raven Age have signed a worldwide deal with Music For Nations/Sony and will release their third album in summer 2023. “Spirits are high in The Raven Age camp right now,” guitarist George Harris says.

“We’re absolutely ecstatic to be working with such an awesome team at Music For Nations and to get the ball rolling with the long-awaited new album campaign,” Harris continues. “It’s a serious achievement for us. I’m super proud of all the lads and everyone involved. Bring on next year. It’s going to be a cracker.”

The new album will be their first with new guitarist Tommy Gentry and will include special guest performances from Matt Hyde and Mika Jussila, with more to be shared later.

“We feel extremely excited to be starting this new chapter with such a prestigious Metal label,” singer Matt James said. “Our long-awaited new album finally has the platform it needs, and we can’t wait for 2023.”

“All of us here at Music For Nations are overjoyed to welcome The Raven Age to the label family,” Music For Nations Director Julie Weir said. “They have accomplished so much on their own and have an exceptional management, press and booking team around them already. We are excited to take them to the next level of their career with support from our structure both in the UK and internationally to grow their influence and fanbase.”

The Raven Age released Conspiracy in 2019, achieving over 35 million streams and a Top 30 Billboard Radio single with Fleur De Lis. Exile was released in 2021, featuring reworked Conspiracy tracks in an expanded acoustic format. It also featured two new tracks alongside hand-picked live recordings from their tours in front of massive audiences in Chile, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The Raven Age are already announced to perform at a number of European festivals next year, including Germany’s Rock am Ring, Belgium’s Graspop Metal Meeting as well as Metal Days in Slovenia.
