THE HU to include ‘Song Of Women’ with Lzzy Hale on deluxe edition of The Gereg

THE HU have announced that their debut album, The Gereg, will be issued in a Deluxe format on the 10 July 2020 and will feature three tracks remade with special guests Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach), Danny Case (From Ashes To New) and Lzzy Hale (Halestorm), plus a further three acoustic tracks.

The band were stranded in Australia at the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, but are now safely back in Mongolia and isolating with their families, having already begun work on their second album.

The video for ‘Song Of Women’, featuring Lzzy Hale, was filmed prior to the pandemic.

Lzzy told MetalTalk: “I’m so thankful to THE HU for welcoming me, my words and my melody into this song. I can count on less than one hand the number of times where a project has changed the course of my spirit and renewed my faith in humanity.

“This was one of those projects. I’m still levitating.”

The Gereg, which reached Number 21 in the UK Charts, will have its deluxe edition available on CD, double vinyl and digital formats.

The band are also involved in the film The Retaliators, a high-octane horror-thriller, starring Michael Lombardi (FX’s Rescue Me), Marc Menchaca (Ozark, The Outsider) and Joseph Gatt (Dumbo) with special guest appearances by some of rock music’s biggest names. THE HU band members play a small part in the movie and contributed ‘Wolf Totem’ featuring Jacoby Shaddix (Papa Roach) to the soundtrack.
