Hunnu Rock pioneers The Hu return with a powerful double release, unveiling two brand new tracks, The Men and Warrior Chant, via Better Noise Music.
The Men opens with traditional Mongolian instrumentation before building into a groove-driven Heavy Metal riff layered with hypnotic vocals and tribal chanting. The track reflects Mongolian philosophy around inner strength and positive spirit, encouraging listeners to reflect on their place in the world.
“The Men is written based on Mongolian philosophy of Man’s Inner Spirit or Хийморь,” Galaa said, “and the importance of inner strength and kindness of a man to the world. Energy of men should always be reinforced with positiveness, strength and generosity, so this song tries to encapsulate that ancient wisdom and share it with the rest of humanity.”
Warrior Chant delivers a harder, more direct Metal sound, driven by the band’s signature rhythm and distinctive instrumentation, including the horse head fiddle. The track reinforces everything fans have come to expect from The Hu while pushing their evolving Hunnu Rock sound forward.
Galaa says that Warrior Chant lives up to its title with a hard-charging chorus and a tight and taut metallic soundscape. “It has our signature rhythm that our fans fell in love with, and everyone who knows us will say that it is our song.”
The release follows the band’s recent appearance on Pray To The Sun from the Netflix series One Piece, further cementing their global reach.
The Hu have also announced a UK and European tour for September and October 2026, including a major appearance alongside Iron Maiden at Knebworth Park on July 11. The tour will span multiple countries, bringing their unique blend of traditional Mongolian music and Heavy Metal to audiences across Europe.
