Slam Dunk, the UK’s biggest independent rock festival, will take place on 25 May (South) and 26 May (North). The festival has been going for 18 years and serves up pop punk, rock, alt, and plenty of Heavy Metal.
This year’s highlights include You Me At Six on their final UK festival appearance, I Prevail, Waterparks, Mallory Knox, State Champs, The All-American Rejects, The Interrupters, The Wonder Years, Funeral For A Friend and more.
Originating as a one-day music event in Leeds, the festival has since expanded, now occurring annually across multiple locations, including Hatfield.
It typically takes place during the late May Bank Holiday, attracting fans who are eager to experience a diverse lineup of both established bands and emerging talent in the vibrant atmosphere of live music.
The festival’s appeal lies not just in its musical offerings but also in its immersive experience, which includes themed stages, extensive merchandising areas, and a variety of food and drink options to cater to all tastes.
Over the years, Slam Dunk has grown in both size and reputation, drawing international acts and fans from around the globe. Its commitment to providing a platform for new artists while also celebrating veteran bands makes it a dynamic celebration of the alternative and punk music culture, creating a lively and inclusive environment for festival-goers to revel in their shared passion for music.
