Skarlett Riot Premiere Dynamic New Single Hold Tight

This morning, Skarlett Riot premiere Hold Tight, their wonderfully dynamic second new single of 2023. The track follows the recent single Chemicals. A new album is set for 2024.

“We are excited to bring you our second new single this year, Hold Tight,” the band told MetalTalk. “It’s ok not to be ok. Hold Tight expresses the importance of speaking up about how we truly feel, reaching out to someone when times get tough and how no one should feel they have to face their problems alone.”

Flying the flag for British Hard rock, Skarlett Riot will be on tour in November with Xandria and Phantom Elite. There are two dates in England before the bands move across to Germany.

Fans will be able to hear the new single played live in just over one week’s time. “We are excited to play this brand new single live on tour with Xandria at the end of this month,” Skarlett told MetalTalk. “If you’d like to hear it played live for the first time and see our last tour of 2024, you can grab a ticket to the below dates.”

Hold Tight follows on the back of the earlier single Chemicals, which kicked off the excitement at MetalTalk for the new album. “Chemicals is about the struggles day to day with anxiety and how it can take over your whole mind if you’re not careful,” Skarlett told us.

“Sometimes day-to-day life can feel overwhelming, and I’ve learnt to take some time out for myself and be kind to myself. It’s what we all forget to do, and we all need sometimes just a moment to breathe.”

The as-yet untitled album is due next year. “We are excited to finally release new Skarlett Riot music into the world,” the band told us. “We believe Chemicals is the perfect track to welcome the new campaign into the world! It’s melodic, hard-hitting and punches you right in the chest.”
