Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter have announced the Anarchy In The U.K. Tour, bringing the band back on the road this December to celebrate 50 years since punk’s year zero in 1976.
Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock once again join forces with Frank Carter for what is billed as one of the closest things to the original punk experience still possible. At last year’s Royal Albert Hall, the band showed that the old angst and vitriol were still there in spades.
For Punk, Rock and Heavy Metal fans alike, this is a rare chance to see a truly era-defining catalogue performed live by key original members.
Tickets go on general sale at 9am on Friday February 27 via Live Nation.

50 Years Of Punk
1976 saw Sex Pistols ignite a new movement with now-mythical London shows and the first recordings that would later form Never Mind The Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols. Landmark gigs, including Manchester’s Lesser Free Trade Hall, inspired future members of Joy Division, New Order, The Smiths, The Fall and Buzzcocks to form bands, before Anarchy In The UK captured a generation’s rage.
Paul Cook recalls the first year as a “commando raid”.
“I don’t even think a lot of places knew we were playing there. We just turned up and set up. It was all a learning curve for us – getting out there and playing live –Â we were learning on the job. With Anarchy, I think we tapped into a feeling of unrest around the country at the time. The message was pretty simple – just have a go and get out there and do whatever you want to do. It was a new world.”

Sex Pistols Featuring Frank Carter
The band re-emerged in 2024 with Carter on vocals and have continued to play shows internationally through 2025, including a standout Royal Albert Hall date for Teenage Cancer Trust.
