Bloodstock Festival 2024 – Sunday. It’s been 33 years since East Bay Thrashers Sadus last played the UK. A mere five previous UK shows means that the Sophie Tent bristles with anticipation as the band casually enter the stage and kick into Sadus Attack.

Sadus
This is the start of a bruising and brutal 40-minute Thrash attack that snarls and rages. The crowdsurfers are inspired, whilst the pit is kicking up clouds of dust as those involved circle at speed.
On stage, all eyes are on the demonic delivery of main man Darren Travis, who spits and roars his way through classics and new tracks alike.
Anchored by fellow founder member Jon Allen on drums, this is a set that blisters paintwork. It is the combination of Thrash and Death that makes Sadus a little different, and with Possessed guitarist Claudeous Creamer adding his firepower and the dreadlocked Bobby Real holding the bass down, it is a powerful combination that pleases all crammed into the tent.
By the time Sadus hit Certain Death, they have confirmed legendary status for all those who were here.

Weekend early bird tickets (Thu-Sun) for Bloodstock 2025 are available to purchase at the box office on-site for £175. Child weekend early bird’s are £45 (ages 4 -11). Mini moshers under age four can come for free.
Wednesday early access is also available for those who want to max out their Bloodstock experience – an early bird adult Wed-Sun ticket costs £200. There is no additional cost for children under 4, or aged 4-11, to arrive with a parent on Wednesday.
