Most Excellent Jam Night is back at Nambucca

Following a tough year and a half for bands and venues alike, the UK live music scene is slowly returning to life. One of the best things about this revival is that it’s starting at the grassroots level. With new gigs and nights springing up all over the UK in anticipation of a return to normal, we look at one of the most exciting gigs coming this month.

Following a successful pair of shows in 2019, Jake Thorsen and Hugo Terva from Death Valley Knights bring their Most Excellent Jam Night back for a third time at Nambucca in North London. A showcase featuring some of London’s most talented musicians, it promises to be an unmissable gig.

Drummer Hugo Terva told MetalTalk that, “The idea behind this event was to have a night dedicated to Metal but also to its people and the London scene, everyone can come to the party but also take part. The response has been excellent and getting to have so many talented people come and jam their favourite tunes makes for a great night, both on stage and in the crowd.

“We’re taking things to the next level this time. Jake and I have been hard at work to make this third edition bigger and better than ever. We’re back at Nambucca on the 30th of July with an improved formula, more live music, more guests, some brand new attractions and challenges throughout the night, including a Heavy Metal raffle and a wet T-shirt contest. We’re partying ’til 6 am, and there are a few spots left for you to join us. Be most excellent to yourself. Get in touch.”

With a lineup including musicians from Death Valley Knights, Neuronspoiler, Dave Winkler’s Star Circus and Nitroville, the Most Excellent Jam Night promises to be just that – don’t miss it!
