Michael Monroe / New Album Outerstellar And UK Tour With Buckcherry In 2026

Michael Monroe has promised his new album, Outerstellar, set for release on 20 February 2026 via Silver Lining Music, is rock ‘n’ roll in its truest sense. The first single, Rockin’ Horse, has been released today, and Monroe will bring his band over in Spring 2026 for a tour with Buckcherry.

“Rockin’ Horse is a cool, rockin’ song that we made a great fun video for with the fantastic director Leigh Brooks,” Michael Monroe said. “We got into different characters on the so-called Waking Up With Michael Monroe TV morning show, with me as the host.

“And it’s the first time ever you can see me without make-up. Great fun and good times. Hope you enjoy it!”

From loud crashing guitars to harmonicas, to gorgeous acoustic moments, Monroe has promised you will sing, dance, shiver and shake to Outerstellar.

Whatever the hell is going on in the world right now, when you put this album on, it is an instant escape to carefree days and an emancipation from worries, fears and woes.

It has been a busy couple of years for Michael Monroe. From climbing the scaffolding at Norwich UEA to making his Hellfest debut, as well as celebrating his 60th birthday at Helsinki Ice Hall, he has still found time to get back in the studio.

The Norwich show was one where his mantra to Live Too Fast To Die Young made it obvious that this man has pure rock star DNA running through his veins.

“It’s great to be over here,” Michael told MetalTal in the car park of Norwich UEA. “Live Too Fast to Die Young, people say it’s one of the best. That’s the greatest thing for me anyway.

“I try to do better all the time and try to evolve, and there’s always room for improvement, which is good. That keeps me hungry, keeps me trying, and I really think with the last album, it was a good idea to go try a new studio and a new engineer. The sound has more depth. I love the sound of the album and the whole entirety.”
