LA emo-trap rock band Love Ghost make their UK debut tonight at The Black Heart, London. The band, who have already toured Ireland, Japan and Ecuador, have re-released their single Closure to mark their visit.
Love Ghost combine live guitars, bass and drums, with trap 808 beats and other electronic elements. Their music crawls into a space between ethereal grunge and lo-fi bedroom hip-hop punctuated by emotional delivery, airy hooks, and serious musicianship.
With an ever-growing fanbase, Love Ghost are an excellent example of new bands that have grown their followers through the medium of social media and YouTube.
