Heavy Metal icons Judas Priest announced their new studio album, Invincible Shield, during a headline show at the Power Trip Festival in California. Priest were a late addition to the festival after Ozzy Osbourne had to pull out, but their set was a triumph, with Glenn Tipton joining for the three-song encore of Metal Gods, Breaking the Law and Living After Midnight.
Invincible Shield, set to be released on 8 March 2024 via Epic Records, was introduced to an audience of 200,000 fans at the festival. The first single from the album, Panic Attack, will be released on 13 October 2023. Pre-orders for Invincible Shield can be made here.

The Power Trip festival, which took place over the weekend, featured renowned metal bands like Metallica, Iron Maiden, and AC/DC, along with Judas Priest. The surprise announcement made by Judas Priest on stage generated excitement among their devoted fans worldwide.
In addition to the album release, Judas Priest will embark on a world tour in 2024. The UK leg of the tour will commence on 11 March in Glasgow and will include a performance at London’s OVO Wembley Arena on 21 March.
