The October Swedish invasion of England’s capital city began in style with Arch Enemy, In Flames and Soilwork. The trio of Imminence, Aviana, and Allt would smash Camden four days later with their wild energy in another epic Electric Ballroom evening.

Allt
With a flash of light, Allt take the stage electrifying the crowd. From the drummer to the guitarists, from the vocalist to the bassist, this band is ready to kick off an unforgettable night at the iconic Electric Ballroom in Camden Town.
Hailing from Sweden, Allt bring their unique blend of Progressive Metalcore to the UK. Their set opens with Remnant, the first song in a short but intense setlist. Following it are Aquila and Emanate, which deliver a powerful start, combining heavy, down-tuned riffs with melodic and orchestral elements.
The set then shifts to a softer tone with The Orphan Breed, showcasing the band’s dynamic range, before ending on a high with The Deep Blue Silent and Paralyzed.
Allt proved to be the perfect opener for Imminence. Their dark, creative sound captivated the audience, who were all in for the wild energy of the mosh pit.
In just four years, Allt have risen to impressive heights, and it’s easy to see why. I am excited to see them grow even more and reach new levels in the Metal scene.
Aviana
Another standout discovery of the night was undoubtedly Aviana. Their stage presence was nothing short of extraordinary, captivating the crowd from the moment they began. As soon as they launched into their latest single, Delirium, the audience erupted, and I was instantly hooked.
Aviana have clearly been through a lot since they first formed, but it is this experience that fuels their music. Their mysterious aura, combined with a sound that blends heaviness, melody, and raw emotion, creates something truly special.
Their music delves into deep themes like personal struggle, mental health, and growth, all while maintaining a dark, atmospheric edge that sets them apart from the rest.
My Worst Enemy was the track that really got the crowd moshing. From the balcony, I could see everyone below having the time of their lives. The band also brought back older favourites like Oblivion, Rage, Anomaly, and Obsession, creating an intense and emotional experience for fans.
Aviana ended their set on a high note, delivering what was likely their best and final performance in the UK for this tour. The crowd was left stunned by how incredible they were, and I have no doubt that many, like me, were amazed by their talent.
Imminence
The final Swedish band of the night, and undoubtedly the most anticipated, made an unforgettable entrance. Dressed in monk-like robes, Imminence kicked off their set with Come Hell Or High Water, a fine first song of the evening. All eyes were immediately drawn to the violin, which played a central role in creating a dramatic start.
I had been eagerly waiting to see them live, mainly because of the addition of a violin. One of the most distinctive features of their music this is quite rare in a Metalcore band. Played by the vocalist, Eddie Berg, the violin adds a cinematic and emotional depth that makes their sound truly unique.
Imminence wonderfully balances heavy sections with atmospheric soundscapes, clean vocals, melodic guitar work, and orchestral arrangements. Their performance, complete with monks wandering around the stage holding lanterns and fake incense, added a macabre touch to the night, enhancing the overall experience.
The show was intense from beginning to end, with fans fully immersed in the band’s powerful energy. Songs like Chasing Shadows and Temptation had the entire crowd singing along, while heavier tracks like Heaven In Hiding unleashed a raw, explosive energy that showcased the band’s heavier side.
Imminence’s performance was not just about the music but also the atmosphere they created, which was filled with a sense of dark, immersive theatricality.
This concert was a testament to the band’s growing reputation as one of the most innovative and exciting acts in the Metal scene.
