Hannah Lia / Tributes Pour in for the young ex-Fallen Mafia Singer

All at MetalTalk were shocked to read about the passing of Hannah Lia. So many tributes have been made to Hannah, the young former Fallen Mafia singer, who died just days before the release of Dust, the debut single release of her new project, The Beautiful Chaos Corporation.

“It is with a very heavy heart that we can confirm that we lost our beautiful Hannah in the early hours of Sunday 28th May,” Fallen Mafia wrote. “No words can describe the loss to her family, friends and the world of music. An incredible talent taken far too soon, we love you.”

“The candle that burns brightest burns half as long,” wrote Adas Cowan, Hannah’s partner. “This is something I never thought I would have to write.

“In the early hours of Sunday 28th May, the loved and beautiful soul that is Hannah Lia passed on from this world to a whole new paradise, myself and the family can not put into words just how heart broken we are. I’m sure she is now with her Nana, Grandad’s and all the people that she has lost, having a catching up all on the gossip, telling shit jokes, playing pranks, and more than likely having a few drinks.

“After a lot of thought and with speaking with family members and close friends, I have decided to carry on with the release of the single Dust which comes out tomorrow, as Hannah was so, so proud of this track and was really excited for everyone to hear it, and more importantly that is what she would have truly want.

“This song now has so much meaning to it. Its almost like she planned it. Please give it a listen and just see how amazing this woman was and will always be.

“ONE DAY WE WILL ALL BE DUST.

“This track is about us as people,” Hannah and Adas said of Dust. “No one is better than anyone else. We come from all walks of life. We all suffer from different things, and we need to bond, stick together! We all end up in the same place. One day we will all be dust…. be kind.”

Winterstorm Festival wrote how incredibly sad they were at the news. “Our thoughts are with Adas and Hannah’s family at this desperately sad news,” they said.

Mark Robinson, who is instrumental in booking the Sessions Stage at Winterstorm, knew Hannah personally and shared words from the heart.

“Hannah was one of those people who managed to transcend all boundaries,” he wrote. “A beautiful soul and a genuinely warm and caring person. We both had our demons with mental health and would talk often and at length about them, providing support for one another where needed. She would often lose herself in her vocal delivery and gave everything when she was on stage.

“She was creative, warm, funny, caring, and had an even bigger stock of crap jokes than me. My heart goes out to Adas and Sailor-Rose, as well as her friends and family. She will be sorely missed.”

“So I’ve just heard the incredibly sad news that Hannah Lia has passed away,” Just Push Play Festival wrote. “A truly unique talent with a voice to match, but it was that voice and soul which shone bright in the music scene, and it was a pleasure to have her and Fallen Mafia grace the Just Push Play stage in 2019.

“With her new outfit, The Beautiful Chaos Corporation, alongside Adas, I truly believed her to be creating some of the best music to date. But it was more of an honour to get to know her as a person and as a friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Hannah’s friends and loved ones. Rest in Peace, Hannah, much love, my friend.”

RIP Hannah. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
